US publisher Armin Lear Press has struck a significant distribution agreement with Gardners, expanding its reach across the UK and European markets and marking the publisher’s first widespread availability in the region.

Under the agreement, an initial selection of ten titles is now available to order through Gardners’ extensive wholesale network. This gives retailers, online booksellers, and libraries across the UK and Europe direct access to the Armin Lear Press catalogue, which has until now only been available in a limited capacity in these markets. The move represents an important milestone in the publisher’s international growth strategy and signals its intent to build a sustained presence beyond the US.

Founded in 2020, Armin Lear Press has developed a distinctive publishing identity, focusing on a broad mix of fiction and non-fiction titles. Its list places particular emphasis on current affairs, memoir, business, and practical works designed to engage readers with ideas that challenge assumptions, deepen understanding, and enhance everyday life. The publisher has steadily built a catalogue that reflects global perspectives, often exploring themes that resonate across borders and cultures.

Its list includes a growing number of thrillers and narrative non-fiction titles with strong international settings and subject matter. This global orientation has informed the selection of titles for the Gardners launch, which has been carefully curated for relevance to European readers. The initial rollout combines both frontlist and established backlist titles across memoir, current affairs, business, and fiction, and is available in a mix of hardback and paperback formats to meet the needs of a wide range of retail channels.

Frontlist titles in the launch include The Escape Artist, Hope at Work, The Xinjiang Procedure, and Pop Life, which is scheduled for publication in May 2026. These are supported by a robust backlist featuring The WWII Bombing of Bari, Italy, BANKHAUS, The Custodians, Altar of Ashes, Your Sexually Addicted Spouse, and Simplicity. Together, the selection highlights the breadth of Armin Lear Press’s publishing programme, from historical narrative and investigative storytelling to business insight and contemporary fiction.

Additional titles are expected to be made available through Gardners later in 2026, as the publisher continues to expand its international footprint and respond to growing demand for its titles in overseas markets. The partnership also opens up new opportunities for Armin Lear Press authors to reach wider audiences and build recognition beyond North America.
